I wrap up my visit in California with 2 more National Parks and a visit to the Eastern Sierras/ Mammoth. I venture beyond barriers and find solitude among mountains, almost die, and find serenity under the milky way grounded in a hot spring. Oh! and I get inspired for my 3rd tattoo (which I get later in TX).
This is my second time to CA and my focus is on NorCal. I return in 2019 and focus on the South.
I begin my journey in Washington state in Mt. Vernon with plans to go to San Juan Island to watch whales. After my time on the island I head to the city- Seattle, make some friends from New Orleans and the the night scene. OH! Montana; my favorite state of the whole 50. I feel like I was a bit gypped on the state. I left Yellowstone after sunset, meaning I drove through Montana in the dark. I spent 2 full days in Ninh Binh; actually I stay in Tam Coc. I was enamored with the landscape and scenery here. Every part of Tam Coc seemed authentic! I hiked to an amazing view point and took a row boat through 9 hidden caves.Read more
