As soon as I land in Cambodia I feel the euphoria of an energy vortex. I have such a fun time, form a group of 5 single travellers turn friends, and see all the temples! We also check out many restaurants- sharing food, and bars at night. It’s a much needed time spent with a dependable group; I still venture out solo, too.

Railay and Krabi, Thailand

I visit Railay- stay on East but frequent the West beach often. I go to a ladyboy show and watch a ton of sunsets. Then I navigate my way to Krabi which is a fiasco and not worth my time. Krabi Town would be great on it’s own but not for only 1 day- I thought it would be a convenient stop on my way to Siem Reap. Wrong.

Phuket, Thailand

I flew from DMK to HKT and my luggage didn’t make it- I talk about how I settle the issue. I stay at Bang Tao Beach in Phuket and find myself crashing a beach party with explosives. Then I stay a night in Old Town before leaving for Phi Phi.

What’s the capital of Thailand?

I ride a sleeper train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. Not only do I explore the city, I take an organized group tour to the train to ride into Maeklong Railway Market, then hop on a boat to go into Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. I make a friend and explore more- Wat Arun, Wat Pho and Wat Ratchanatdaram Worawihan.
