I take a bus to Chiang Rai for an over night stay and do another overnight stay with elephants in the Mae Wang district. Then I take the overnight sleeper train to Bangkok.

Maryland, USA to Chiang Mai, Thailand- the route
It takes over 29 hours to get to Chiang Mai, Thailand. I start in Baltimore, Maryland, USA (BWI) and have 2 stops. The first stop is in Minnesota and the other is in Seoul, South Korea. I miss a flight due to the plane landing over an hour late.
